Now that doing at least 3 dailies a day nets you a good 2 gold, it's a good thing to always do your daily whenever you can. Not only will you earn an easy 60 gold / month, it's fast to do (less than 30 minutes) and if you want it faster, you can do PvP which will guarantee that you finish 2/3rd of your dailies as long as you're not completely horrible in fighting. Then you can just do Vista Viewer daily to finish.

  • Daily Fractals

Doing daily fractals may seem like it takes a long time, but it's really not. You can expect 15-20 minutes per fractal if you aren't running with an experienced team. You should do the Tier 1 and Tier 2 recommended fractals first as they give the most gold. If you don't have enough Ascended equipments to put Agony Infusions in, don't worry. Even Tier 1 daily fractal rewards will net you a good 5-10 gold in total.

Since Auric Basin Multi-Map was killed, Silverwastes is back at the top of gold farming method. Basically, what you need to do is to find a Silverwastes farming group in the LFG and buy as many Skeleton Keys from the Silverwastes Bandit Crests NPC as you could. You just need to follow the commander and open any chests that spawns. Easy 15-20 gold an hour, but mindlessly boring and might suck out your enjoyment of the game.

  • Auric Basin Meta Event

One of the best gold-making event in Guild Wars 2, I personally did this event hundreds of times in a month so I can craft my first legendary weapon. Gold-making potential of this event varies from the usual 10 gold per event to the occassional pre-cursor drops, which is an easy 500-800 gold. I recommend this event the most out of other HoT events because it's almost always succeed and very easy to get into. Just follow whatever someone else is doing and you'll be fine (mostly). Triggers every odd hours at the 45 minute mark, then 15 minutes until the real event starts. For a guide on how to do Auric Basin properly, you can visit here.

And that's all. Please note that the tips written here are what I personally use and what I find is the best as it doesn't consume a lot of time at all but still earn me decent amount of gold. Thanks for reading!

Beginner's Guide - How to do Auric Basin Meta Event Properly

This guide is intended for use by newbies trying to do one of the finest Meta events in Guild Wars 2 - - and coincidentally also the best gold-making event with the least effort - - Auric Basin Meta event. I will lay out a few basic rules : All the octovines have to be killed  within 2 minutes of each other When one of the octovines is killed, all the others have to be killed within 2 minutes or the octovines will regenerate about a half of their health. It's not a big deal if it happens once, but if it happens twice there's a big chance your map isn't coordinated enough.   Breachers > Frogs > Octo. This is the law of Auric Basin you will hear every time you do the Meta event. In short, you have to, in order, kill the breachers(wurm-like mordrem who will summon even more mordrems), frogs(elite mordrem flopper - - they are annoying because they can kill large groups of people when burning octo), and octo(burning phase, you burn only when breachers an...

Tangled Depths Meta Event - An Explanation

Howdy, everyone! This post is to bring you guys, especially the newbies, up-to-date on what should be done on Tangled Depths Meta Event. Basically, the event will have you kill Chak Gerenths (huge Legendary Chak) that will spawn for each lane : Scar, Rata, Nuhoch, and Ogre (Shrek) Lane. All lanes will have what's called as Chak Rush, which is when tons of chaks rush to the cannon at the end of a lane, completely ignoring any players in their way. When the cannon's destroyed, it's an automatic fail for the whole event, not just that specific lane. Scar Lane The simplest lane, your job in this lane is to protect the 4 Charrs humping the Mega-Thumper which will draw the Gerenth out. To do this, you just need to kill every single chak you see. Simple, you see. You can even use whatever skills you want, even those with heavy CCs. Rata Lane The second easiest lane after Scar Lane, this lane will have you chucking balls of ley-line energy. Once the event starts, ley...
